LG on Wednesday launched the Q6 Plus in India. The handset, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage, is priced at INR 18,000 ($280), around half the price of the firm’s flagship G6.
Aside from the bump in RAM and storage, the Q6 Plus is identical to the regular Q6. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS display, a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 processor, a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 3,000mAh battery.
Sure, those internals aren’t going to be enough to woo flagship lovers, but if you don’t have INR 36,900 ($575) to shell out for a G6, you’re essentially getting half the phone for half the price with the Q6 Plus.
“The new LG Q6+ sets the benchmark in bringing the best of technology at an accessible price point to consumers in India,”said Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer at LG Electronics India.
