10:10 (EDT) | A front panel allegedly belonging to the Galaxy Note 8 posed for a couple of hands-on pictures on Friday, and it looks a lot like the one found on board the Galaxy S8, leading us to believe that it will essentially be a stretched version of the firm’s current flagship.

11:45 (EDT) | Google’s kicked off a new deal for Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra owners in the United States. From today through July 31, those interested can rent an “eligible” movie for $0.99. All of the terms and conditions can be found over on the firm’s website.

13:20 (EDT) | The Essential Phone now has a carrier partner in Canada. TELUS has revealed that it will be the only operator to carry the handset when it launches later this month, though it’s still yet to provide any details with regards to pricing.

15:15 (EDT) | Samsung is offering Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus owners in the United States a chance to gain early access to Bixby Voice as part of a beta program. To register your interest in joining the scheme, head over to this page and fill in your details.
