HTC has announced that its flagship U11 will be available to pre-order in India on June 17, with pricing set at INR 51,999 ($807). Unlike in the United States, only one variant will be available in the region, which will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
You’ve probably heard the U11 be referred to as the world’s first squeezable smartphone, and that’s because, well, it is. Users can configure all kinds of actions — launching an app, for example — that can be triggered by either short or long squeezes of the handset’s frame.
The U11 is also pretty powerful. Safely enclosed in its liquid glass body is a 5.5-inch QHD screen, a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 12MP UltraPixel rear camera armed with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 16MP front camera and a 3,000mAh battery.
