According to a new report published by The Investor, LG will release the upcoming G7 and V30 earlier than usual, with the former rumored to hit the shelves in January, 2018 and the latter in August this year.
Usually, the South Korean company announces its latest flagship at MWC in February, but it’s hoping to get a head start on its rivals by launching it earlier.
As expected, LG’s keeping its cards extremely close to its chest. When quizzed about the revelation by Android Geek’s Blog, the firm insisted that it’s still yet to decide on the launch schedule.
The report also notes that both the G7 and V30 will sport an OLED display. The G6 is believed to by powered by a Snapdragon 845 CPU, while the V30 should have a Snapdragon 836 processor.
